This set of 5 Homestead Readers includes the level 1 book “Grant at Bat”, the level 2 book “Grant’s Sled”, the level 3 book “Finn and His Pals”, the level 4 book “Will Grant Get A Jack?”, and the level 5 book “Tex”.  The first book book only includes short vowel “a” words and each book adds in one more short vowel.  The last book includes all short vowels.  All of the words are easily decoded and the stories are designed to pique a child’s interest while building confidence in their reading ability.
